A Message from our President
Welcome to the family owned and operated Hess Hotel Group. We began in 1965 with my father-in-law developing our flagship property, BEST WESTERN Invitation Inn. Over the past 45 years we have developed, built and nurtured four additional hotels to become the dynamic hotel company we are today. In addition to our flagship hotel we now own and operate two RAMADA Hotels. Check them out from the links above.We are blessed to be working with the best hospitality professionals at every position in our hotels and think of them as family. In fact, we have many multi-generation families on staff. Our family culture is what makes all our guests feel like they are at home when they stay with us. We enjoy many long term staff members as well as guests that return to our hotels repeatedly and are considered part of the Hess Hotels family.

1966 - Opened the BEST WESTERN Invitation Inn, Harford County MD
1985 - Opened the COMFORT INN Edgewood, Harford County MD
1989 - Opened the COMFORT INN Perryville, Cecil County MD
1995 - Added a conference center to the COMFORT INN Edgewood
1996 - Opened the SLEEP INN & SUITES Edgewood, MD, Harford County MD
2001 - Opened the SLEEP INN & SUITES Emmitsburg, MD, Frederick County MD
2004 - Converted the COMFORT INN Perryville to the RAMADA Perryville
2005 - Converted the COMFORT INN Edgewood Conference Center to the RAMADA Conference Center
